Our client is experiencing immense company growth through acquisitions as well as organic growth and operational expansion through key strategic initiatives. Due to this growth, they are now looking to find an Accounting Manager to join their team near Skokie, IL to take ownership over the month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other daily accounting functions.Job DescriptionAccounting Manager Responsibilities:Coordinate month-end and year-end closing procedures and perform necessary accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls.Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.Monitor cash flow, including cash inflows and outflows, and manage working capital. Make recommendations for cash flow optimization and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.Oversee the general ledger and ensure proper classification and coding of financial transactions.
