Gen II Fund Services LLC is seeking an individual who is detail-oriented and has great organizational skills to join our team as an Accounts Payable Specialist and be a part of the Management Company services department. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to identify detailed information and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client requests as we ensure client business needs are met on behalf of Gen II's Management Company clients. Our ideal candidate is someone who holds a bachelor's diploma in accounting or a similar field of study and has great time management skills and some accounting expertise as well as preferably some previous experience in the field, and proficiency in accounting and business management software.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The required skills listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, andor ability required.Primary responsibilities will include:Entering invoice details into the accounting system and allocating expenses to proper expense and project accountsVerifying account details and handling wire transfers through online banking portalsPreparing and processing payment batches, including checks, electronic transfers, and other payment methodsHigh level of attention to detail essentialMust be organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with precision and thoroughness.Collaborating with different teams to interpret, gather, and analyze relevant dataResolve any issues or concerns raised by clients in a timely and effective mannerCollaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client requestEffective communication skills - oral, written, and interpersonal skillsProcess the annual 1099 process for all clientsQualificationsBachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 5 years prior experience with accounts payableExcellent work ethic and dependability with a positive attitudeWillingness to learn about client engagementsSolid understanding of accounting concepts, particularly where it relates to Accounts PayableHighly organized and detail-orientedFamiliarity with accounting software systems for processing invoices, managing vendor accounts, and generating payment. Experience with and Sage Intacct is a plusAbility to multi-task and work on several client initiatives concurrentlyWillingness to partner with others across the team and comfortable interacting with members of all levelsHighly proficient in computer skills - Excel, Word, and MS OutlookSelf-motivated individual with a passion for working with people and staff developmentIntegrity in handling sensitive financial information demands that you maintain a high level of ethical standards throughout daily responsibilitiesThe salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate's experience level.Work ArrangementAll applicants applying to Gen II Fund Services, LLC must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
