Our work explores how T cell fate decisions are made and how these decisions influence their functions across various disease contexts. By combining genetically engineered mouse models, disease studies, and single-cell technologies, we aim to uncover the principles governing T cell fate and their functional roles across tissues. This individual will contribute to experimental research as well as organizational tasks in the lab. The successful candidate will work closely with senior group members, receiving guidance and mentorship while contributing to a collaborative research environment. The role provides opportunities to gain expertise in advanced immunological techniques, including flow cytometry, tissue processing, cell staining and culture, single-cell assays, and various disease modelsAdditionally, the Research Associate will assist in organizing and maintaining our mouse colony including weaning, genotyping and recording.
