With over 50% of American's citing that their financial planning needs improvement, a career with Northwestern Mutual provides abundant opportunities to serve this growing need!Responsibilities•Proactively build a clientele base through referrals, networking and targeted outreach•Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our financial products via referrals•Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients to continue to provide excellent customer service and remain top of mind should new financial needs arise•Make tailored financial plans for each client that suit their evolving needs•Assess each client's financial information to make strategic product, plan, and investment•Stay abreast of any changes in the financial industry that may impact the clients in your portfolioQualificationsYou could be right for this opportunity if you have:•4-year degree; or equivalent professional work experience•Enterprising ambitions•History of success in sales, athletics, military, client services, or client-facing roles•Excellent time-management skills•A desire for continuous learning•Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with integrity and a strong work ethic•Openness to learning about the financial industry and our various products and offerings•Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or other related field is recommended but not required•Must have the ability to market yourself and network with potential clients
