Dishwasher Porter are directly responsible for the cleanliness of the restaurant, which is the first thing a diner sees. Ensuring that all items used within the kitchen is cleaned to standards. RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES: Always treat guests with courtesy and respect in a variety of situationsHonesty & IntegrityDelivers outstanding service and creates memorable experiences.Coordinates and multi-tasks job duties in an active environmentSPECIFIC DUTIES Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, andor pans using dishwashers or by hand.All dishes, glassware, plastic containers, pots and pans must be put away clean, dry and grease free in a neat and organized mannerTransfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.Clean garbage cans with water and proper MSDS cleaning suppliesMaintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.Sweep, scrub and mop floors.At no time should there be standing water on the floor anywhere in the kitchen; as per the health code violation.Responsibilities to ensure all paper towels, soap are refilled at every hand washing sink throughout the kitchen.Weekly deep cleaning of both ice machines also daily spot cleaningREQUIREMENTS: Must have 2 years + experience as dishwasherporter at a comparable restaurant or hotel.Must have a basic understanding of the English languageMust be able to lift 50 lbsMust be able to stay on your feet for 8 hours plusKnowledge: Must have basic knowledge of sanitation procedures
