We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team and play a key role in supporting our growth in the retail and luxury sectors.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations:Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Financial Reporting & Compliance:Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies.Lead annual audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline accounting operations and implement scalable processes and systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory and cost accounting procedures.Leadership & Collaboration:Supervise and mentor a team of junior accountants, providing guidance and development opportunities.Partner with FP&A and business teams to align financial data with business objectives.Strategic Contributions:Assist in developing budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning.Play a critical role in integrating accounting functions for any new business acquisitions or system implementations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
