Opportunity to work with top OEM's in Aerospace!Every other Friday off! 8-90 work week!About Our ClientOur client, an aerospace manufacturer based in the western suburbs, is looking for a Quality Supervisor to manage their lab operations. Their customer base includes prominent OEMs like Boeing, Raytheon, and Northrop Grumman. The company places a strong emphasis on its quality department as a key driver of their success and fosters an employee-focused culture, offering perks such as every other Friday off, no weekend work, and shorter workdaysJob DescriptionOversee and monitor the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure compliance with established quality standards.Supervise, train, and guide Receiving Inspectors, Final Inspectors, and In-Process Inspectors to ensure adherence to product specifications.Ensure timely scheduling of raw material inspections, product inspections, audits, and data collection.Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Engineering to develop control plans, including inspection plans, first articles, and process validation.Develop and train QC personnel on inspection protocols, techniques, and equipment usage.Provide feedback on material, part, and product specifications based on inspection results.Formulate and revise quality control policies and procedures as necessary.Ensure production schedules are met efficiently and on time, within the assigned budget.Implement statistical methods in Quality Control activities, including process capability analysis.Direct QC staff in facilitating nonconforming events (NCE), material review boards (MRB), containment, and disposition of nonconforming events.Support NCE investigations and related corrective actions.Conduct reviews for all assigned personnel.Manage performance and development of QC personnel.Lead and manage the metrology department.
