About the job Associate manager, QC (pharmabiotech) Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Coordinates with members of stakeholder groups to provide analytical support.Manages QC Analysts, distributes work load, and monitors progress.Oversees product testing.Reviews test reports.Ensures QC Analysts receive proper training.Attends meetings to keep informed of manufacturing priorities.Ensures that safety standards are maintained.Ensures compliance with applicable cGMP regulations and vestigates atypical test results as necessary.Tracks monthly testing and compliance metrics Performs personnel management functions including time sheet submissions, scheduling of vacations, personnel developmentfeedback, and performance evaluations.Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesCoordinate, organize and assign daily activities of operationsAbility to motivate employees and build team moraleContinuously drive to improve processes for improved performanceSupport employees, executing against established guidelines and common procedures and policiesAbility to provide feedback and career counselingAbility to effectively manage high-stress situationsStrong leader and teacherDemonstrated flexibility during ambiguous situationsAbility to identify problems and escalate accordinglyEducation And ExperienceRequires BSBA in Life Sciences, or related field, with 6+ years of relevant experience preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Previous supervisory experience required.
