Front Office EQ Developer

Job Title: Front Office EQ DeveloperLocation: NYC, NY (Hybrid)Job Type: Full-Time Major Responsibilities: Developing sophisticated FO applications Implementing and performing rigorous testing of the software that is developed. Understanding business requirements and writing specifications Building applications as per the specification. Administering & work with other teams to handle all batch processing and be able to handle job failures. Required Qualifications: 6+ years with Java experience (SE, EE) 3+ years with messaging technologies (JMS) 3+ years database experience - writing or dealing with data access layers (SQL Server preferred) Experience with Spring and Hibernate Experience with Maven is a plus. Strong architecture & design skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate ideas, solutions etc. Self-driven - Ability to lead projects from initiation to completion. Strong educational background with BS MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related area Experience building FO EQ applications.(e.g. IOIs platform, Positions and Risk modules..) Experience with automated testing tools Self-drivenAbility to lead projects from initiation to completion.
