Join us in our mission to promote lifelong wellness through compassionate, evidence-based practices that empower patients on their healthcare this role, you will:Set up procedural spaces and sterilize instruments for urologic procedures Assist physician with exams andor proceduresUpdate and maintain all electronic patient records and assist in transitioning hard copy records to digital formatManage Physician inbox and prioritize tasks assigned via ONCO EMRWork in the front office taking care of tasks such as answering phone calls and greeting patients as they enter the facilityAssist in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as neededRecord patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history before each appointment Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointmentsEscort patients to exam roomsRecord patient interview, history, and chief complaintProvide patient education concerning medications, management of diseases, home treatments, and special dietsPrepare patients for examinations and perform routine screening testsPrepare and administer InjectionPhlebotomy and collection of other lab specimensPerform basic lab testsAdminister and document medication under a physician's order and follows the five (5) medication rights and reduce the potential for medical errorWe require:Current NYS LPN license requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other health care professionals.Experience with EMR'sReliable transportation to any of NYH location for patient care needsWhat we offer:Salary: Starting at $41 per hour based on experienceBenefits: Tuition reimbursement, Health Insurance on day 1, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short- and Long-term disability, 401k Plan, generous PTO, 8 paid holidays (2 floating)Join us at NYH, where we are making strides in healthcare through innovative and compassionate care.Visit our website at: Follow us on Facebook: NYH on Facebook*New York Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.*
