** Up to a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus **PurposeThe Advanced Practice Provider ensures appropriate comprehensive health care to support the clinical care team in achieving Neighborcare's goals for quality care, productivity and patient satisfaction. Perform independent clinical activities, and collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants when appropriate to achieve quality patient care. This position is eligible for the Staff Referral this position you will:Direct Clinical Work:Provide patient centered preventative care, as well as diagnoses and treatment of acute and chronic conditionsIdentify the need for referrals and provide overall care coordination in a team-based settingNOTE: Physician Assistant only - work under supervision of an MDDO, per state regulationsIndirect Clinical Work:Assure accurate and timely completion of all clinical recordsCompletion of paperwork in a team-based approachCompleting necessary paperwork for patient care. Such as, prior authorizations and communications with outside specialistsTimely response to communications and test resultsProvide feedback to appropriate teams andor individuals when necessaryKey Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities Required for this job:Ability to work in a high pressure, time-sensitive, and complex health care environmentAbility to effectively work with individuals of varying ethnicities, socio-economic levels, varying languages, cultures and sexual orientationsAbility to work with patients that have substance or mental disordersAbility to treat opioid use with medication assisted treatmentsAbility to meet and comply with HIPAAConfidentiality policies and proceduresExperience working with interpreters in a medical settingDemonstrates the ability to conduct discussions of a sensitive nature with staff and patientsAbility to build relationships while maintaining appropriate boundariesAbility to communicate effectively in person, email, and on the phoneAbility to develop collaborative working relationships that foster a positive working environment with an emphasis on teamworkAttention to detail and ability to organize and manage time and tasks independentlyAbility to prioritize work assignments and adjust tasks as neededPreferred for this job:Proficient with email and electronic health recordsFluency in a language(s) other than EnglishInsertion and removal of long-acting contraceptionExperience with motivational interviewing Required qualifications for this position include:Graduation from an accredited universityLicensed as a ARNP or PA-C in the State of WashingtonBoard CertifiedCurrent BLS CertificationDEA License Preferred qualifications for this position include:Contraceptive Implant Certification3+ years of clinical practice experience in community health, FHQC, family practice Bilingual skillsExperience prescribing buprenorphine or other treatments for opioid use disorders, including past completion of a buprenorphine waiver certification course or specific continuing education to satisfy the requirements for the DEA's Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act.
