Whether it's voice-enabling vehicles, streamlining patient journeys, or enhancing customer service, our multilingual, omnichannel AI technology touches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world.The Sales Director, Enterprise (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance) is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives by promoting and selling Amelia, a leading conversational AI solution tailored for high-volume Contact Centers. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience in Contact Centers across Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance as well as experience supporting employee functions like IT Service Desks, HR, Facilities, and Events. A deep understanding of contact center tools and processes, including CCaaS platforms such as Genesys, Five9, NICE, and others, is this role, you will:Develop expertise in SoundHound's BFSI portfolio, with a focus on enhancing Customer Experience outcomes in large Contact Centers through conversational AI and Generative AI integrationBuild, manage, qualify, and close deals within a rolling 12-month sales pipelineMake prospecting a consistent part of your routine to ensure a steady flow of new prospectsIdentify and utilize appropriate contract vehicles to penetrate specific clientsEngage cross-functional Amelia resources (Engineering, Marketing, Proposal Development, Finance) at the right stages of the sales cycleStay informed on industry trends and business prioritiesDevelop compelling points of view on how autonomic and cognitive solutions can transform prospects' businessesLeverage Amelia's Partner relationships to sell into clients, whether as a Prime or SubcontractorEnsure Amelia delivers consistently excellent service, as reflected in customer satisfaction metricsTake a leadership role in industry trade associations and attend relevant eventsActively participate in the RFP process and demonstrate the ability to take on multiple rolesContinuously learn about new Amelia solutions and refine your selling skillsAssist in contract negotiationsDeep understanding of how to qualify and manage objections in complex sales cyclesWe would love to hear from you if:15+ years of sales experience selling into corporate Enterprise clients (G2000F500) and larger, specifically Global Banks and Financial Services firms headquartered in or around New York10+ years of experience in Contact Centers across various industries and support areasStrong knowledge of Contact Center tools and processes, including CCaaS platforms like Genesys, Five9, NICE, etcWhile experience with autonomic and cognitive solutions is not required, experience with analytic solutions that impact operational business processes is highly desirableA strong understanding of sales cycles, regulations, and experience working with top decision-makersProven track record of achieving assigned quotasAbility to manage a pipeline of 20+ opportunities simultaneouslyAbility to work effectively in a team environmentProven success in prospecting, building a pipeline, advancing opportunities through the sales cycle, and presenting solutions to C-level executives and other decision-makersAbility to craft solutions that align with business priorities based on client discussionsWillingness to travel as necessaryThis role is limited to New York City, NY. This is a hybrid-based role.The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000plus variable pay for an estimated on-target earnings of $360,000 - $400,000 and equity.
