This role is pivotal in overseeing the agency's financial health, strategic financial planning, and operational finance functions for the business units Optimum Sports and Outdoor Media Group. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance and accounting, combined with expertise in the media and advertising industry, and will be a collaborative leader capable of driving business growth and profitability.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.8+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the media or advertising industry.Strong understanding of media agency operations, including client billing models, profitability drivers, and contract structures.Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., MediaOcean, Prisma, D365, Excel).Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.Strong team collaborator with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies.Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Analysis:Develop and manage annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.Manage the P&L including monthly forecast and actuals reconciliation. Present the monthly forecast to executive management and utilize to manage and approve costs including staffing, intercompany transfers, and accrual management.Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to drive decision-making.Monitor and report key financial metrics and KPIs, ensuring alignment with agency goals.Revenue and Profitability Management:Oversee client profitability analyses, ensuring effective pricing strategies and margin management.Collaborate with client service teams to structure contracts and scope of work agreements that align with financial objectives.Support the identification of diversified revenue opportunities, such as partnerships, digital platforms, and emerging markets.Manage client commercial conversations including contract management, pricing, reporting, and ad-hoc needsAccounting and Compliance:Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies to maintain appropriate internal controls.Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including P&L, balance sheet, and credit reporting.Oversee audits and any ad-hoc compliance specific to the media industry.Operational Finance:Lead financial systems and implementing new efficiencies and enhancements to the financial infrastructure.Partner with departmental leads to optimize costs and manage agency overhead.Ensure proper checks and balances are in place with billing teams to ensure accounts receivables and payables processes function as expected.Leadership and Collaboration:Manage and mentor a finance team, fostering professional growth and development.Collaborate with account teams, strategy leads, and operations teams to align financial planning with business priorities.Act as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team, providing financial insights and recommendations.#LI-JS2This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualificationsskills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs.
