Chelsea Piers Fitness seeks an enthusiastic, motivated individual to work as part of our team.ResponsibilitiesPositively engaging with customersClean and restock fridges with food and beverage productsAccepting orders and payments through Toast POS systemChange keg lines when necessaryPrimary responsibility for making and serving all smoothie and beverage ordersAnswering customers questions about menu choices; promoting and recommending menu optionsMaintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning and troubleshootingKeeping the work environment sanitary and organizedEvaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of serviceAbility to craft and serve salads and sandwiches to customers when neededCook menu items following SOPs, with the most consistent and high-quality standards. Prepare food for service (salad station, meats, sauces).Prepare coffee station for service.Prepare Grab n Go items (sandwiches, wraps) in packaging to be displayed in the fridgeTake orders from customers directly or through Toast POS in a timely mannerEngage positively with customersClean and restock fridges with food and beverage products.Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning and troubleshooting.Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized.Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service.QualificationsQualifications Provide a top-notch customer service to ensure you meet or exceed clients' expectations.Excellent written and verbal skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Training, motivation and retention of Canteen staff.Ability to lift 30 + poundsContinuous standing and walking throughout the work shift.Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and work effectively in an environment typical of this position.Food Handler's licenseLocations:BrooklynProspect HeightsDowntown BrooklynManhattanChelseaFlatironCompensation: $18 per hour + TipsPart-time and Full-time work available
