Job DescriptionAbout Juilliard Summer Programs: Each summer The Juilliard School welcomes a cohort of young artists to live and study at Juilliard's campus at Lincoln Center in New York City, with world-renowned Juilliard faculty members and guest artists. Juilliard becomes a vibrant summer community of approximately 170 students from across the world. Students participate in daily lessons, master classes, studio classes, rehearsals, and seminars, perform in public recitals at Lincoln Center, and explore iconic New York City music and arts institutions. Juilliard summer program students will leave having connected with mentors and peers who are leaders in the field, and having been prepared for success in college auditions and beyond. Dates of Temporary Engagement: Twenty-two days from July 5 through July 26, 2025. The person in this position would be an employee during this period. There is no guarantee of employment beyond July 26, 2025. Role Description: The person in this position is responsible for the primary health care needs of Juilliard summer program participants, ages 12-18. The 2025 program dates are July 6 - 26, 2025. The Summer Program Physician AssistantNurse Practitioner is required to work from July 5 through July 26, 2025 (22 days). Accommodation will be provided in Juilliard's Samuel B. & David Rose Building Faculty Suites as well as a meal stipend to be used at Juilliard's on-campus dining facilities. Please note family members are not permitted to reside on-campus.The salary range for this role is: $1,500.00 - 2,000.00 per week, depending on qualifications and prior experience.Role Responsibilities: Assist Camp Director in the initial health screening of summer program participants Diagnose and treat routine illnesses, urgent care issues and potentially life-threatening medical conditions Responsible for distribution and documentation of medications Charting and maintenance of medical log Reporting of medical emergencies, including outbreaks of communicable diseases, and child abuseallegations, as required to the Department of Health and other appropriate authorities Work collaboratively with other summer program personnel and Health Services staff Communicate with summer program participants' families regarding illness, injuries, etc. Carry out other duties as assigned Work for 12-hours a day and on call 24 hours daily during summer program session for emergencies Office coverage will be shared with the program's Health Director.
