Job Type Full-timeDescriptionWe are looking for a full time Kitchen Supervisor that will assist in overseeing the operations of our Anaheim and Los Angeles locations. This position is ideally suited to a cook interested in taking a next step in their culinary journey. As a Kitchen Supervisor at a Pali Wine Co. Outpost, your job includes all culinary activities and will include but not be limited to the following duties:Place food ordersMaintain food cost at or below budgetEnsure standard receiving practices are followed and proper rotation of productMaintain organization of storage of food and equipmentEnsure all equipment is properly maintained and preventive maintenance practices are in placeEnsure all standard public health practices for food safety are being upheldMake sure prep lists are in place, adapted and used on a daily basisTrack wastePerform prep duties as needed to ensure proper mis en placeEnsure kitchen is properly set up for serviceWork shoulder to shoulder with teams through the rushMonitor ticket times and ensure consistency and quality of foodPerform monthly inventoriesEnsure recipe adherence Perform daily line and temperature checksRegulate safe practices of employees. In concert with the GM, develops menus for private events, Wine Club events and Winemaker dinners and acquire necessary food, manage costs and assist with pricing. Ensure customer satisfactionRequirements Must be at least 21 years of ageFood and wine knowledge preferredPrior management experienceAbility to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and adapt to a flexible scheduleFood Handler's CertificationThis position will involve the ability to lift, carry andor transport 40 pounds (a case of wine) is necessaryAbout Pali Wine Company:Pali Wine Co. brings the winery experience to your neighborhood.
