Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe Bruery & Offshoot Beer Co. is growing and we are hiring for a Field Sales Representative (FSR) position to cover Orange County. The ideal candidate is a high energy, self-motivated go getter that loves craft beer. This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is the face of our brand in Orange County. The ideal candidate resides within the assigned territory and has previous supplier andor distributor sales experience. They should be able to maintain existing business relationships while also growing brand awareness, and PODs. As the Field Sales Representative, you are responsible for growing PODs, volume (CE & dollar), and velocity within the assigned territory. A successful FSR will achieve quarterly goals for: STRs, ride-with frequency, number of account visits, events, quality control surveys and overall customer satisfaction.Primary Function:This position supports the Sales Department's primary function of Brand Building by:Expanding placements for core and seasonal brands, primarily in the On-premise channelIncrease the rate of sale with market activations and secure high velocity accountsBuild relationships across all levels at Breakthru Beverage GroupCreate lasting relationships with key retailers in Southern California Essential Job Duties:Create and enter weekly schedule into calendar andor KARMAMaintain weekly written communications with Regional Manager and distributor partners regarding activity;Complete predetermined account visits per dayUtilize VIP andor distributor route accounting software to identify account opportunities, analyze sales and gain business and sales insights; Generate sales by maintainingincreasing shelf facings and positioning Manage account database for assigned territory, including pipeline of prospective accounts, and assist with updating contact lists for account and distributor communicationIdentify field quality concerns and report to the appropriate contacts and departments using appropriate procedures Maintain retail call frequency and call on existing account base within assigned area to obtain new distribution, execute promotional activity and increase market shareBuild and maintain relationships with distributor Sales Reps and Field Sales Managers in assigned territory in order to maximize communication and increase focusEducate distributor reps and managers about brands and products through regular in person meetings, phone and email communications and presenting at sales meetings when appropriate. Supply distributors and accounts with marketing materials and assist marketing team with more focused marketing material; Gather marketing information and feedback from distributors and warehouse teams to effectively promote and prepare for events; Identify retail opportunities and sellexecute against those opportunitiesEnsure proper merchandising of product and point-of-sale materials within area and according to our brand standardsGenerate sales by maintainingincreasing shelf facings and positioning; Merchandise and service off premise retail accountsIdentify and coordinate events to showcase products including but not limited to premier beer festivals, music festivals, and food and wine festivals; Deliver great brand awareness to stimulate salesRepresent the company in a unique, enthusiastic, and respectful manner with distributors, accounts, and customers RequirementsEssential Qualifications:Represent the company in a unique, enthusiastic, and respectful manner with distributors, accounts, and customers2+ years of experience in a sales capacity within the beer andor wine & spirits industryProven track record of growing sales volume andor dollar volumeKnowledge of Federal alcohol distribution 3-tier systemPassion for craft beer and beer industryPossess high level of energy, self-motivation, and a positive attitudeSkilled negotiator, sales professional Organized, self-disciplined, detail-oriented, and sociableComfortable with public speaking and presenting to large groupsAble to work in a fast-paced, dynamic industryExcellent oral and written communications skillsWilling to work both independently and in collaborative environmentsMust be adaptable and able to adjust plans to achieve goalsAbility to meet a variety of deadlines and prioritize workloadProficient with KARMA, VIP & G-Suite programsReliable transportation, valid license, and clean driving record Must be willing to travel within and outside of territory, work evenings, and weekends
