Key Holder

About the RoleWe are looking for a responsible Key Holder to help run our Roosevelt Field location. We are looking for someone who thrives on teamwork, delighting customers, and spreading Little Words Project's message of positivity. The Key Holder will help model best practices for the team by sharing the LWP brand story, providing personalized recommendations, and guiding each customer through their in-store shopping experience. Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a passion for LWP's mission. Core ResponsibilitiesWork with the Store Manager & Assistant Store Manager to motivate the team to perform at their bestOpen and close the store independentlyManage in-store beading appointments and help facilitate in-store parties and other special eventsMonitor and maintain store inventory and communicate product needs to the Inventory LeadCoach and support new and existing Sales AssociatesIntroduce new products to customers and recommend items based on their needsEffectively handle in-store customer issues and answer questions related to merchandise and store policiesProcess transactions accurately on the POS system Keep the sales floor tidy and well-stockedAssist in maintaining backstock and setting up merchandise on the sales floorOperational tasks such as inventory intake, visual merchandising, clienteling, and KPIsAssist customers at the bead-your-own bracelet table by tying their braceletsFulfill in-store custom orders by beading bracelets and contacting customers when the order is completeOther duties as requested by the Store Manager or Assistant Store ManagerKey Qualifications2+ Retail Experience 2+ years' of customer service industry experienceInterpersonal and communication skillsDesire to be creative in terms of the beading table and capturing contentProblem-solving attitudeMust be able to work weekends and holidaysPassion for learning, sharing LWP's core values, including positivity and kindness
