Knock is looking for our first operations hire to help us grow the Knock business and scale our team, and ensure we continue to execute at a high-level while doing both. You'll work with our founders to build a repeatable hiring process, run operations at Knock, and help on projects that contribute directly to our success as a business.About KnockKnock is on a mission to help products communicate with their users in a more thoughtful way. Building product notifications in-house takes months, often leading to poor user experiences. We believe that-when done right-product notifications help users find value in the products they use every day. You love to look at the way a business is running, find opportunities for improvement, and then go make them happen.You love data and are experienced in SQL. You are comfortable working with large sets of data to run data analyses. Bonus: you have experience with warehouse modeling tools such as DBT or Looker (LookML).You have excellent spreadsheet and modeling skills. You have experience building sophisticated models that enable you and leadership to evaluate decisions on forecasts and spend.You're a fantastic communicator. You can tell a good story, whether it's in a long-form document proposing a new initiative or in an all hands deck to get the team excited about our progress to date.You're a fast learner. You're a person who wants the agency to be able to make things happen on your own.What you'll be doing in this roleIn this role you'll work with our CEO and leadership team on the following priorities:Projects that drive growth for the company. In a given quarter, this could be (i) diving into our sales and marketing efforts to understand where we're driving the most effective return on paid spend, (ii) standing up a new dinner event series to drive pipeline, (iii) iterate and develop data-driven outbound strategies, (iv) iterating on our pricing model, and pany culture and operations. Own all-hands meetings and organize the materials and speakers required for them. You'll also help with one-off projects such as company offsites.Board materials. You'll help prepare materials that give our board the state of the business every quarter. You'll be involved in the materials involved with fundraising as well.Miscellaneous operations. Help manage operations work that our CEO currently owns. This includes systems for the company around hiring, accounts receivable, budgeting, and forecasting.
