The Investor Relations Sr. Analyst is a key member of the Investor Relations department and will participate in all facets of the investor relations process. The Sr. Analyst will be expected to take initiative, work both independently and collaboratively, perform both qualitative and quantitative analysis, and identify key insights based on this analysis. He or she will need to have strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. The Sr. Analyst must be poised and confident in working with a broad cross-section of the organization, including senior executives.Principal Accountabilities:Develop a strong understanding of the company, our strategy, and the exchange industrySupport the quarterly earnings process, including data collection, presentation materials, earnings release, and Q&A preparationReview and analyze research reports, financial results and call transcripts of CME and peers to stay current on industry trendsAssist in designing and creating material to communicate key themes to investors and potential investors, including the investor presentationEnsure up-to-date and accurate management of our CRM platformAssist with planning and logistics for investor targeting and outreach, collaborating closely with multiple internal and external parties, and support preparation of all marketing materialsTrack and analyze investor trading activity and help prepare material that communicates the key findings to senior managementSkills and Software Requirements:2-4 years of professional experience in financial services of derivatives markets is preferredInterest in financial markets and a desire to learn moreExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to build strong relationships with numerous constituencies at all levels both inside and outside the organizationSelf-starter with the ability to workcollaborate effectively within a teamOccasional travel may be requiredCME Group is committed to offering a competitive total rewards package for our employees that recognizes their contributions to the business and reflects our long-term investment in their future. The salary range for this role is $80,600-$134,400. Actual salary offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education and comparison to internal employees (where relevant).
