Assists in conducting hospital rounds, tasks, and other procedures.Responsibilities:Demonstrates knowledge of the Privacy and Security rules outlined in the HIPPA guidelinesSuccessfully completes the mandatory three days of H+H orientationAdheres and conforms to all hospital and departmental guidelines, policies, and proceduresIntake patient's medical historyDiagnose and treat illnessesOrders and interprets testsCounsels on preventative healthcareMinimum Qualifications1. Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant; and, 2. Current certification issued by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA); and, 3.
