Job TitleAssociate Director, Sales MarketingJob DescriptionJob Summary | Major goals and objectives.Dotdash Meredith is seeking an Associate Director, Marketing to join our Lifestyle team, contributing to the brand and category strategy for our HomeHousehold & Pet CPGAuto vertical. As a key player in our Lifestyle Marketing vertical, you will collaborate closely with the Vertical Digital Sales Team, Vertical Print Sales Team, and Strategy Account Team to develop and execute category strategies, manage the pre-sale process, and drive revenue growth with top-tier advertising partners. This position reports to the Exec. Director, Marketing of Lifestyle.This hybrid role, based in NYC, requires three days in the office each week and reports directly to the Exec. Director, Marketing. Hybrid 3x A Week In-office Expectations: This position offers remote work flexibility; however, if you reside within a commutable distance to our office in New York, the expectation is to work from the office three times per week. About The Role | The expectations Lead Proposal Process: Manage proactive and RFP responses, creating smart, strategic ideas for advertising partners in the category verticalVertical Strategy: Collaborate across the Dotdash Meredith portfolio to create sellable opportunities for advertisers that are grounded in our brand's most influential franchises and tentpolesBrand Communication: Lead internal conversations with Dotdash Meredith brands and verticals to communicate high-value opportunities to the Sales Teams on a regular basisStorytelling: Bring ideas to life through well-written and visually-appealing proposals that represent our brands, capabilities, and ideas flawlesslyCross-Department Communication: Partner closely with Sales, Editorial, Content Strategy, Research, Account Strategy, and Design to ensure proposals and presentation effectively communicate our unique value propositionSales Partnership: Develop strong relationships with the Sales Teams to become experts on their business; provide support on client calls, as neededManagement: Mentor and manage the workflow of key team members to ensure their delivering best in class work for the category vertical. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
