A well-established mechanical company (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection) in Hempstead, NY is immediately looking for an organized and experienced Service Manager to manage and supervise their team and oversee the overall operations.WHY YOU WANT TO APPLY:Continuous Industry Growth & LeadershipStrong Compensation Package Ongoing Training & Management SupportPTOWorking primarily in the office, the Service Manager will be responsible for supervising, mentoring, and training; creating, scheduling, and closing work orders; completing site visits to review work' prepare quotes, estimates, material and equipment take off; ordering parts and materials needed for the job; resolve client and employee issues, etc.JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSPrevious managementleadership experience in the Fire ProtectionSuppression, HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical industryPrevious commercial service andor installation experience in HVAC, Fire ProtectionSuppression, Plumbing, or Electrical equipment and systemsKnowledgeable of NFPA Ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks to maximize efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfactionAny trade and safety licensescertifications considered a strong asset (i.e. NFPA III, EPA Universal, Plumber License, HVAC License, OSHA-30, etc.)Valid Driver's License with a clean MVORThe successfully hired Service Manager must pass a pre-employment background check (Criminal, Driving, and References).SHIFT: Days, 7:00am - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday).
