Come intern with Just Salad!Just Salad is looking for talented, creative, hard-working individuals to join our Accounting Department. Our interns will gain first-hand knowledge of the restaurant industry and learn the ins and outs of working in a corporate environment. Come join us for any of our 3 semesters: Summer, Fall, or Spring.This position will report to our Accounting Manager and work closely with the rest of the Accounting team.This position will on site in our NYC office.Our ideal intern would have the following qualities:Student or recent graduate pursuing accounting degreeExcellent excel, communication, and research skillsExceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detailAbility to take direction and run with itFast learner & quick workerExperience with Microsoft Office + Google SuiteInternship Responsibilities:Assist the Accounting Manager with the weekly payment runAssist with running GL reports from the accounting systemPerform Accounts Payable vendor statement reconciliations and identify missing invoicesReviewing and approving Accounts Receivable invoicesAssist in the preparation of sales tax filingsAssist with the period end close process, including certain bank reconciliations, P&L allocations, and other balance sheet reconciliations.
