About the job Contestant Department Assistant The Contestant Department Assistant will join a team of four people and report to the Senior Contestant Producer. The assistant role will be responsible for heavy clerical work in our systems database. This will include the organization of downloading and uploading files and photos, scheduling interviews, handling publicity forms and other paperwork. The assistant must be comfortable with technology and confident as they will represent the face of Jeopardy!.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for solely running contestant group testing and representing the face and brand of Jeopardy!. Must be tech savvy to run group testing with a confident, upbeat, and outgoing personality. Some small script memorization is also involved.Responsible for booking contestants over the phone, sending, and receiving documents prior to their appearance on the show and making sure all documents have been properly filled out, initialed, and signed.Administrative duties, such as entering information including uploading applications and photos, scheduling group testing and game-play auditions into the contestant database.The assistant will be with the contestants all day in the studio on tape days and meet them for covid testing the day prior. Weekend work may be required depending on production schedule.Must be friendly, warm, and can take charge and shuffle contestants from one location to another in a timely manner to keep up with production schedule call times.QualificationsBachelors degree (or equivalent experience)Must be comfortable with using all social media platformsKnowledgeable and comfortable using Zoom, TEAMS, Adobe, Excel and Power PointDetail oriented, multi-tasker who likes working in a team collaborative and fast paced environment, but can also thrive on their ownAbility to work and meet deadlines with minimal directionAbility to change tasks and direction quickly depending on business needsMust possess ability to work at a rapid pace and be flexibleSony Pictures Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer.
