The Regional Ambulance Manager (West) will provide a high level of service to our Ambulance partners every day, ensuring high operational standards and provider satisfactionThe Regional Ambulance Manager (West) will also provide financial analysis of ambulance transportation costs for the assigned region. Location: This is a remote role that can be located anywhere within the West region of the United States. This role will travel up to 25% within the West region. What you'll do:Full lifecycle recruitment of ambulance vendors throughout assigned region; identify, contract and onboard ambulance vendorsLead the retention of and recruitment of the existing network to ensure that networks are comprehensive in geographic coverageNegotiate pricing and trip coverage expectations with providersEvaluate performance and costs of ambulance providers and hold vendors accountable for a variety of metrics, including, but not limited to on time performance, cost and customer service satisfactionMaintain a strong understanding of the client expectations, contract agreements, state local client ambulance rates and protocols, Medicaid and Medicare fee schedules, and service level expectationsWork closely with Mobile Integrated Health team to ensure strong ambulance partnerships to provide community paramedicine and in-home servicesOversight of internal ambulance processes, provider training, and claims resolutionDrive ambulance cost containment initiatives through innovative recommendations, including but not limited to reviewing and containing average costs per trip, average costs per mile, and other costs related metrics to meet budgeted transportation expensesMonitor service levels and trip scheduling to ensure client and contract expectations are metProvide ambulance providers with answers, guidance and support for questions or concerns regarding ambulance operations, from initial trip scheduling through reimbursementOversee and ensure consistency of the execution of ambulance policies and proceduresMonitor and communicate, at least monthly, the overall performance metrics including recruitment activity and progress towards recruitment goals; meeting exceeding trip setting goals; provider satisfaction; ensuring metrics are being met andor initiatives are taken to meet the metricsTrack and report ambulance and Mobile Integrated Health implementation project progress and deliverablesProvide support with the client when neededEnsure providers are educated and trained in accordance with MTM and contract specific requirementsParticipate in planning, revisions, implementation and execution of updated amendments andor regulationsFacilitate town halls, conventions and seminarsAct as ambulance subject matter expert for the company and stay up to date on industry trends and service expansion opportunitiesEnsure consistency in process and quality, and will monitor to ensure contract standards are met through service levels, provider and client satisfaction, and compliance of protocols and proceduresExecute on new implementations and client expansionsWhat you'll need: Experience, Education & Certifications:High School Diploma or G.E.DPrevious experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) industryMinimum 5+ years previous experience in EMS or Ambulance Operations, Dispatch Operations, Logistics or Transportation (7+ years preferred)Intermediate level of proficiency or above with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointMust possess a valid driver's licenseSkills:Must be results driven and able to communicate effectively with internal and external clients at all levelsAbility to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and projects, and meet deadlinesStrong focus on customers, accountability, teamwork, collaboration and decisivenessExcellent customer orientation, interpersonal and communication skills with strong follow throughAbility to handle a high level of sensitive and confidential matters tactfully and professionallyStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work well under pressure within a fast-paced environmentStrong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skillsMust be a team player who thrives in a collaborative work environmentMust demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer serviceMust demonstrate an ongoing positive attitude and demeanorAct as a brand ambassador for the companyMust demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making skillsExcellent public speaking and presentation skillsKnowledge of transportation logisticsMust be able to conduct inspections, audits, communicate issues, and corrective actions from an authoritative position but with professional courtesyEven better if you have: Clinical license or degree; Paramedic or EMT strongly preferredManagement experience, strongly preferredWhat's in it for you: Health and Life Insurance PlansDental and Vision Plans401(k) with a company matchPaid Time Off and Holiday PayMaternityPaternity LeaveCasual Dress EnvironmentTuition ReimbursementMTM Perks Discount Program Leadership Mentoring Opportunities Salary Min: $65,440Salary Max: $75,000This information reflects the base salary pay range for this job based on current national market data.
