Overview We are looking for a motivated, goal-oriented and experienced finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. The VP of Finance must be a strong leader with best-in-class analytical and communication skills. What You'll Do Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with the CFO to lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets. Reporting: Prepare and present financial dashboards to senior management and the board, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends. Collaborate with the Accounting team on variance and trend analyses. Strategic Initiatives: Partner with CFO and senior leadership to analyze and support business growth opportunities, including new product launches and market expansions. Cost Management: Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements across the organization. Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as marketing, operations, and sales to align financial strategies with overall business objectives. Corporate Finance: Support due diligence processes when necessary. Process Improvement: Collaborate with Accounting to identify opportunities for process enhancements within the reporting function, promoting efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis. What We Are Looking For 8+ years of relevant FP&A or Corporate Finance experience in consumer products Process driven and detail oriented with advanced proficiency in financial modeling and scenario analyses Strong understanding of DTC and wholesale business models and their financial implications. Ability to manage and grow a team Ability to solve problems at both a macro and micro perspective Superior analytical and communication skills Ability to maintain a high attention to detail, communicate work product effectively and be collaborative with cross-functional teams Strong work ethic, steadfast adherence to deadlines, ability to work extended hours during critical periods Background in investment banking or management consulting strongly preferred.
