In this job, you'll report directly to the Sr. Manager of CRE Operations, leading the procure-to-pay and vendor processing workflows necessary to manage SCE's 7 million square foot non-electric real estate portfolio. You'll be responsible for the processing and tracking of purchase orders, invoices, change orders, and contractor work authorizations; reconciling payment termsconditions; processing monthly and annual accruals and journal entries; and developing procure-to-pay process improvements. In addition, you'll provide support for budgets, quality controls, reporting, analytics, and special projects. In this position, you'll engage regularly with the CRE divisions, our Finance and Procurement partners, and external vendors.As a Business Operations Analysis Senior Specialist - Corporate Real Estate, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?ResponsibilitiesProvides reporting on key metrics related to major programs and initiativesDevelops, produces, and tracks key metrics through automated processes and KPI dashboardsMonitors the creation and storage of documentation and records for use in project monitoring, ensuring accuracy and completeness in order to track projectprogram costs, resources, schedules, and status for management reviewDelivers data analysis and business intelligence reports, including complex requests with high internal and external visibility or special requests, such as auditsCoordinates research efforts on various topics to ensure timely information is gathered which can form the basis for decision making on organization priorities and needsContributes to process improvement and refinement efforts of department andor Operating UnitDevelop and maintains systemstools to facilitate work processes, records management, and communications in support of Business Operations analysisDevelops and reports on key performance indicators to measure efficiency and effectiveness of projects and programsA material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.Minimum QualificationsFive or more years of experience performing business operations analysis. Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting or related major. Three or more years of experience in contract management, documentation control or creating procurement-related documentsThree or more years of experience in procurement and business technology platforms, such as SAP and Ariba Two or more years of experience supporting project-related activities or in an analytical role Experience and working knowledge of general accounting practices, such as accrualsExperience working with multi-functional teams across multiple fields (e.g., finance, accounting, procurement, project management), and internal and external personnelCertification as a Project Management Professional, or equivalent project management certification. Experience using a Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as Archibus.Additional Information This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
