The University Registrar's Office is responsible for the planning and management of registration, student records, grading, processing transfer credit and degree conferral activities for all colleges and programs of the University, with over 10,000 degree students and 3,000 continuing education students. This position helps direct the overall registration and scheduling processes for the team and gives feedback and advice to the management regarding effective and efficient operations. RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the Assistant Registrars in the functional administration of our Student Information System (Banner) including setup, maintenance and troubleshooting.Processes and oversees mass registration leveraging reports and other technology for efficient and timely entry.Analyzes the information and processes between Registration and Scheduling to ensure data is updated and accurate across units. Processes sections cancellations.Conversant in or adaptable to learning basic programming languages (e.g, AutoHotKey, Scribe, SQL, etc.) as they pertain to Registrar's Office functions.Processes Appeals committee results post-adjudication.Monitor and maintain error reporting to ensure that processes and operations are running as anticipated, content is accurate; forms are functional. Helps with proofing and doing quality control checks during scheduling blackout periods.Monitor incoming emails to ensure timely responses to inquiries and resolution to issues.Create and update Guru cards pertaining to Registration and Scheduling processes and procedures. Guru is our knowledge base for our OneStop center and other staff.Report and monitor operational metrics for the team.Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree, or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Registrar's Office.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to pull, compile, and present data in a meaningful way.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the initiative and ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.Excellent conflict resolution, decision-making, and implementation skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to work with various university constituents, communicate with clarity, provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Demonstrated ability to initiate, coordinate, oversee, and complete various projects with minimal supervision.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with university operations, programs, and procedures related to the University Registrar's Office.Technical fluency with Banner, Google Suite, Tableau or other reporting software.Experience in developing and facilitating training to both technical and non-technical users.WORK MODEHybrid - Employees hired for this position primarily work remotely with the occasional on-campus presence required with advanced notice. Travel and accommodations for required on campus events will be at the expense of the employee.
