Description Department: Benefits Relationship Management Job Type: Regular Full Time Education Level: BABS or combination of education and experience Required Years Experience: 3 Church Pension Group (CPG) is a financial services organization located in Midtown Manhattan. CPG was founded in 1917 to provide pension benefits to eligible clergy of the Episcopal Church. Since then, its mission has expanded to include life and disability insurance, health benefits, property & casualty insurance, and publishing.Benefits Relationship Management (BRM) is responsible for relationship management with the institutions and individuals that CPG serves. To serve, support, and educate both B2B and B2C clients, BRM will maintain deep benefit knowledge and collaborate with partners at CPG and external faculty to create impactful points of connection with benefits clients (existing and prospective) so that all come to understand, access, and appreciate the products, programs and services we offer. The Associate Relationship Manager (East) will report to a Director of Relationship Management and be responsible for the day-to-day relationship and account management of dioceses, (including diocesan leadership), larger parishes (10 or more enrolled employees), and groups within a designated territory as well as serving as faculty for CPG events. The designated territory Includes: Province I (seven Episcopal dioceses of New England)Province II (six dioceses of the state of New York, two dioceses of the state of New Jersey, La Iglesia Episcopal en Cuba, l'glise piscopale d'Hati, Iglesia)Province III (thirteen Episcopal dioceses in the states of Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia, and the District of Columbia)Province IV (twenty dioceses in nine Southeastern states)*Spanish fluency highly preferredESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Develop and maintain strong, trusting, and professional relationships with assigned clients for all benefit related products, so they come to experience and understand us as a consultative benefits partnerProvide consultative analysis and support to clients on benefits as well as CPG programs and services Serve as faculty for business to business, and business to client eventsDeliver administrator onboarding and education trainingProvide knowledge, service, and intervention to report, track, and resolve client issues and complex cases, escalating where appropriatePrepare for and provide pension overview and retirement preparedness conversationsIdentify, plan and design sales proposals and financial analysesAct as a conduit for insights (two-way from CPG out to clientschurch and from clientschurch to CPG)QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
