Join our team and discover your passion.Job DescriptionAHRC NYC is looking for a Crisis Intervention Clinician for their Bronx program to provide behavior management counseling to families at home and at other sites by performing the following duties. The Crisis Intervention Clinician position has an annual salary of between $42-$66k and comes with a low-to-no cost, comprehensive health benefit package which is just one way that AHRC NYC supports the wellbeing of our employees and their families. Our wellness offerings include an employee assistance program, Twill mental health platform and cash rewards for healthy behaviorESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Receives referrals and interviews the person, the person's family and service providers (as appropriate).Provides behavior management counseling to persons and their families at home, at schools and at other sites as needed.Develops behavior management plans when indicated, teaches their use and monitors their ongoing implementation and effectiveness.Arranges for or provides clinical assessments to determine the person's functional abilities and service needs.Makes referrals when indicated.Opens and maintains logs for all individuals and families served including documentation of each contact, relevant DDP forms and evidence of appropriate follow-up (post-crisis stabilization) once the family is no longer actively receiving services. Assures that these procedures are followed by other program staff.Responds to Program answering services as well as direct calls on a rotating basis.Assists in the preparation of monthly report of activities, forwarding to supervisor within five working days of the end of the month.Performs all duties necessary for compliance with relevant regulations governing service provision, including recordkeeping.Deals with people in a legal and ethical manner.This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Follows level of service requirements of relevant contracts.QualificationsMaster's degree (M.A.) or equivalent in a treatment field of human services, requiredBilingual (Spanish) highly desirable.Additional InformationBenefitsMedical InsurancePaid time off (sick, personal & vacation)Paid TrainingDental insuranceVision insuranceTuition ReimbursementReferral program403(b) retirement plan403(b) company matchLife insuranceEmployee discountHealth savings accountAHRC New York City is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
