Fitness Technician

LIVunLtd is looking for a Service Technician andor Service Apprentice to join our team and work throughout the Greater New York City Region. At LIVunLtd, Service Technicians are leaders in the fitness industry and part of a skilled team of individuals who are in control of their advancement through our technician career path and other career opportunities throughout the company. As a Service Technician, you are responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining fitness equipment while delivering world-class customer service and being a professional representative of LIVunLtd. Successful candidates must be able to manage a schedule full of jobs for a variety of demanding customers. You are the face of LIVunLtd; we need the best.We also hire for our technician apprentice program in all of our service areas. We encourage all mechanically inclined individuals with or without experience in the service and repair industry to apply. Paid training is provided.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Responsibilities Travel to client locations Inspect, calibrate, and clean and test fitness equipment during Service Contract visitsEvaluate equipment for repair; prepare parts list and labor estimates for a repair quote to be provided to customerComplete repairs with parts ordered; test that machine is back in full working orderProvide communication to customer both in scheduling times to come out and what is going on with their equipmentLook for additional opportunities for revenue from servicewarranty work and PM contracts on additional machinesLook for additional opportunities for incremental revenue for new equipment andor fitness accessoriesAdditional Responsibilities Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle at all timesMaintain proper inventory levels and count accuracy at all timesComplete vehicle maintenance needs as directed by the fleet operations managerFollow with Company Uniform PolicySKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSBe able to liftmove fitness equipment & parts up to 50 lbs Maintain a valid driver's license and insurance and clear an MVR Check. Proficiency and working knowledge of computers, Microsoft OS, iPad, wifi, email and cell phone technologyCOMPENSATION The Service Technician Apprentice position with LIVunLtd pays $23-$26hr based on experience and location of service. All of our Service Technicians are also eligible for a competitive performance based bonus program. More detailed information on our bonus incentive program is shared as part of the interview process.
