Valid and current state-specific RN license.Work SettingCrisisSalaryHourly Wage$43.00 - $47.00hourBonus$12,000Our PositionThe Charge Nurse position oversees the medical, psychiatric, substance abuse and nursing care of individuals served. Assists leadership with assuring that the delivery of nursing care meets licensing regulations and accreditation standards. Maintains medical and nursing supplies and equipment and monitors the safety and effectiveness of equipment. Ensures completion of designated assessments of all individuals brought to the facility, develops plans and recovery solutions in partnership with the individual. Provides treatment and makes dispositions and referrals in consultation with the team. Supervises andor provides nursing treatment and monitoring. Administers medication as required by protocol. Supervises special diet requirements as needed. Initiates andor ensures appropriate response to all medical emergencies in accordance with medical protocol and policy. Completes clinical documentation as required. Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies. Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all RI International policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.Work EnvironmentMay work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated andor confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.
