Real Estate Strategist

Job DescriptionOur client, a boutique commercial real estate (CRE) consulting firm, is looking to hire a Real Estate Strategist for its Lease Advisory Team.The ideal Real Estate Strategist will provide expert guidance to local and national tenants on commercial real estate acquisitions, lease obligations, and asset dispositions, and working through lease restructures for franchisors, franchisees, and portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial real estate leasing, underwriting and sales, and accounttransaction management experience. Candidates with backgrounds working in commercial real estate retail is a significant plus. This position will be an integral member of the real estate advisory team with opportunities for growth and development.A day in the life of the successful Real Estate Strategist includes, but is not limited to:Reviewing commercial real estate lease documents and identifying ways to optimize values for both tenants and landlordsContributing to lease restructuring and negotiating processes through data management, analysis, and lease transaction supportConducting geographic market studies, client operational updates, and industry financialreal estate research to better handicap business landscapeActively engaging and negotiating documents between tenants and landlordsAd-hoc strategic and tactical projects to drive overall business growthRequirementsThe ideal Real Estate Strategist possesses the following characteristics or experiences:5+ years of related commercial real estate experienceMotivated self-starterStrong verbal and written communication skillsEffective with time management and strong attention to detailA desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environmentBachelor's DegreeProficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPointUnderstanding of real estate fundamentalsStrong quantitative and analytical skills
