VP of Machine Learning PlatformsHybrid - NYC Metro Area$210,000-$230,000CLIENTOur client is a leading innovator in the financial sector, leveraging cutting-edge technology and engineering solutions to drive impactful business outcomes by integrating advanced systems, data, and ideas.As a VP of Machine Learning Platforms, you will oversee the development and management of Python programming and AIML runtime environments. This includes building a robust Python user community, delivering tools to streamline user workflows, and leading the development of foundational runtime environments that support state-of-the-art AIML models using advanced GPU hardware and multi-cloud platforms.THE ROLEDefine and implement a strategic vision for Python and AIML runtime platforms.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team specializing in Python and MLOps.Drive collaboration and innovation to foster a culture of continuous improvement.Work with stakeholders and industry leaders to design scalable, containerized runtime environments for AIML models.Apply MLOps and CICD principles to create fully automated build and deployment pipelines.Ensure smooth integration and performance of AIML frameworks on Unix-based systems and GPU-supported environments.Develop user resources, such as example notebooks, to demonstrate effective AIML framework utilization.Promote best practices for MLOps and advocate for adopting the latest advancements in AIML software and technologies.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEProficiency in Python for machine learning or application development.Expertise in building and maintaining containerized runtime environments for data science and machine learning.Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to guide and develop engineering teams.Solid knowledge of Unix-based systems, CICD pipelines, and GPU-supported runtime environments (e.g., CUDA).Advanced understanding of Python frameworks, tools, and packages.Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., TensorRT, ONNX, MPI, DeepSpeed) and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.BENEFITSCompetitive base salary: $210,000-$230,000 (dependent on experience)Performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits packageHOW TO APPLYSubmit your resume to Grace McCarthy via the "Apply" link on this pageKEYWORDSMLOps | Machine Learning | AI | TensorFlow | Deep Learning | AWS | PyTorch | Python | Financial Data | Platform | Deployment | CICD | Containerization | Infrastructure
