Committed to our mission-driven approach, we believe in building meaningful relationships, embracing challenges as opportunities, and inspiring and being inspired every day.Position: Residential Quality Improvement SpecialistBlock Institute's Adult Residential Department is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Quality Improvement Specialists to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will provide onsite observation and support to residential staff to enhance the quality of services. If you have experience with OPWDD Residential programs and are eager to learn more about regulations and policies while contributing to service improvement, this is the ideal position for you. This is a full-time role with the opportunity for a flexible schedule.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct agency investigations to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.Perform onsite observation of residential settings, providing feedback for quality improvement.Deliver onsite training for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to improve service quality.Collaborate with the Incident Review and Risk Management Committee to develop and implement quality improvement recommendations.Provide audit support to Management Teams by conducting record reviews and compiling data for pile and analyze data to identify progress and areas for improvement.Conduct research to support creative service and environmental enhancements.Attend internal and external training, webinars, and workshops to stay informed about industry developments.QualificationsQualifications:Strong communication and writing skills.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; comfort navigating Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook is a plus.BS degree preferred, but some college credits are acceptable.Benefits:Medical and dental insurance.Paid time off - vacation and sick leave.Life insurance.403(b) retirement muter benefits plan.Voluntary benefits such as critical care, disability, and additional life insurance.If you're ready to make a positive impact on the quality of services within our residential programs, we invite you to apply.
