Job DescriptionSolar Project ManagerNational Role, NortheastDaily travel to Project Sites2 Positions - 1 Senior and one Junior PMCompany SummaryOur client is comprised of solar industry veterans focused on Front-of-the Meter renewable energy infrastructure. The team has strong management experience, technical expertise, and exceptional EPC services to help customers develop, finance, and build these critical solar and energy storage projects. Their expertise in technical due diligence and EPC services is the advantage they bring to solar projects. Their projects average between 4-10MW.Position SummaryAs a Project Manager, you will be crucial in keeping our operations on track, providing leadership to field teams, project management, and customer teams. You are the primary point of contact to our clients, leading the project team, procurement team, engineering team and third-party consultants to guarantee the project meets all schedule, financial and milestones.RequirementsPosition Responsibilities•Executing the company's standalone and co-located solar PV and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects nationally.•Build and lead a team of Operations professionals with focus on project execution, Internal Process development, Program Management, technical due diligence, design optimization, technical project development and support for all technical and commercial tasks.•Expertise in EPC Bid Development, budget and cost management•Conduct thorough project assessments to develop accurate and competitive project estimates•Carry these estimates through the vetting process and prepare subcontracts.•Collaborate with the Operations team to manage all submittals, RFIs, scheduling, budgeting, Change Orders, and invoicing•Provide appropriate teams with access for document sharing to subcontractors•Be the main point of contact for clients•Provide technical expertise during client meetings and negotiations to ensure alignment with project requirements•Travel as needed to oversee projectprocess implementation and address any field-related challenges•Mentor and guide team members to enhance their skills and capabilities•Foster a collaborative and innovative team culturePreferred Qualifications•3 years of General or EPC project management experience, in solar or in working for a general contractor or EPC firm.•PMP is a plus but not required.•A valid state-issued driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are required.•This role is hybrid requires part time travel to project sites daily.
