Representing a leader in the Architectural Metal & Glass industry, we are searching for two Project Managers to join their custom metal & glass division in their NYC headquarters. Our client offers high quality metal & glass solutions for any size and scope of work. Our team has decades of experience, the only truly national resource in this expertise. They provide turn-key service, creating highly customized products- storefronts, railings, canopies, curtain walls, specialized ornamental metal, glass, & film.Required SkillsAbilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent cost containment skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong supervisory and leadership skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software. (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, etc.)Education and Experience:At least two years of experience in project management, construction, engineering, systems design, or other related field, with at least one year of management experience leading multidisciplinary project teams required.Blueprint Reading a must.Responsibilities:Oversee various aspects of engineering, workflow, budget, field verification and scheduling of the assigned project.Supervise progress of the project from start to finish.Serve as the liaison for all communications with the client.Collaborate with project staff to create a strategic action plan and project estimates of products, time, install labor, and other resources required to complete the project.Facilitate and contribute to the development of project plans and pare the actual products of the project to estimates.Recommend andor analyze materials, equipment, and practices used in the project.Ensure compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.Collaborate with project engineers and senior management to identify and troubleshoot problems which arise.Assess the competence, capabilities, and sufficiency of resources, and of subcontract installers.Manage and communicate requirements for Change Orders to project team and clients.Prepare periodic progress reports for leadership.Perform other related duties as assigned.Salary commensurate with experienceStrong comp & benefits
