Tax Manager - Family Office/HNW

A wealth management firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Tax professional to join their growing team as a Tax Manager. In this role, the Tax Manager will be responsible for working closely with a Managing Director in providing accounting and family office services to a very large client. Responsibilities: The Tax Manager will be responsible for: Detailed review of Federal, and multi-state tax returns for High Net Worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, family LLC, trusts, foundations and gift tax returns Researching various tax issues related to the tax compliance and tax planning duties Reviewing quarterly and year-end tax projections using BNA tax software Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: 5+ years ofTax andor Family Office Services experience within a Middle Market andor boutique CPA firm Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, andor a related field CPA or parts passed Good knowledge of 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120S, 990-PF, 709 and multi state Microsoft Excel proficient Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills: Experience in an Ultra High Net Worth environment
