Responsibilities of a PCB Designer include analog and digital PCB layout, creation of PCB manufacturing documentation, and coordination with engineering and manufacturing teams to support our motion control hardware. In addition, this position optionally offers the opportunity to design, test, and troubleshoot basic electronic equipment. This role is focused on developing a valued technical expert who will produce high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures.This position is located at our headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule.What will your day look like? At Aerotech, you will:Develop motion control components using cutting-edge technologiesCollaborate with leading engineers in the field of automation and robotics on a close-knit teamWork independently under the guidance of upper level engineers to draw schematics, place components, and complete routing for circuit boards using Altium DesignerGenerate and maintain BOMs, fabrication documents, detailed technical drawings, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system design information for PCB designsSupport on-site fabrication andor component assembly of PCB designsLearn about Aerotech technologies to expand your responsibilities into other areas of design, troubleshooting, and testing of our motion control hardwareWhat will separate you from the rest?
