Tool Allowance: While, our shop is well-stocked, we provide a tool allowance for you, because we know you have your favorites.Volunteer Overtime: Its never required, and its there for the taking, if you like to pick up extra hours.Certification Opportunities: We'll help you get ASE certifiedWhat Youll be doing as a Diesel Mechanic:Keep our fleet of Class A trucks and trailers operating in top shape. Youll perform the important preventative maintenance tasks, including removing, cleaning, repairing, reinstalling and adjusting truck and trailer components. Of course, youll diagnose mechanical problems, complete repairs and, if needed, rebuild equipment for anything from brakes, transmissions, rear-ends, clutches, electrical components to diesel engines and more.Safety is our priority, and youll evaluate completed work and conduct final inspection of equipment prior to release to ensure compliance with federal and state code regulations and our company safety standards.Make service calls offsite, as needed.Youll work Monday-Friday, with a start time anywhere between 5:00 am 6:00 am, and wrap up the day between 4:00 pm & 5:30 pm, based on your start time.
