Job Title: Ulpan TeacherDepartment: The Gottesman Center for Jewish LivingReports to: Ulpan DirectorFLSA Status: Non-ExemptJob Overview:Teaching Hebrew at the MMJCCM Ulpan - both in person and Zoomclasses. Classes are offered by semester (FallWinter-SpringSummer) -using the Israeli method for teaching all Hebrew language skills-speaking,comprehension, reading, and writing. We hire only highly qualified,experienced Hebrew teachers-primarily native speakers. We offer small,interactive day and evening classes at all levels.Responsibilities and Duties:Teach classes according to the Ulpan syllabusKeep current with new trends in Ulpan teachingAttend Ulpan teacher meetings as scheduled by the Ulpan DirectorQualifications:Experienced Hebrew teachers, preferably with Ulpan teachingexperience. University Degrees and Teaching Licenses are a plus.Salary Range: $80 per teaching hour.
