Job DescriptionFull Time Security Guard- Opioid Treatment Center: Jamaica, Queens Responsible for maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors including monitoring persons who enter the clinic and controlling access to sensitive areas. Assists management in enforcing safety regulationsaware of building exits and evacuation routes. Responsible for maintaining a sign-in roster at front desk for all visitors. Responsible for conducting building and grounds surveillance on a regular basis to detect and report any safety violations. Responsible for monitoring and documenting patient loitering within a four-block radius. Responsible for conducting periodic and random fire drills. Maintains clear communication with management.High SchoolGEDMust have at least one (1) year experience in security operations.Experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness andor substance abuse disorders preferred.Current New York State Security Officer CertificationCurrent Fire Guard CertificationPay:SSOBA Union Rates
