Duties include projects related to a variety of warehouse activities including, inventory control, space management, logistics of product distribution and day to day operations. The position is hands on warehouse work.Salary: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Salvage Supervisor responsibilities Includes the following and other duties as assigned: When scheduled this person is responsible for opening or closing the store which includes access to the safe and alarms. Maintains an environment that fosters exceptional customer service to external as well as internal customers Keeps an organized, clean facility that excels in the storage and distribution of customer inventories Promotes a safe work environment for all employees insuring warehousesalvage operations are in compliance with agency safety programs Plan and organize time and resources efficiently Promotes productivity by following up with employees on assigned tasks Insure all staff within the facility are safety trained and certified where necessary Assist in monitoring Outlet and Salvage employeesQualificationsBasic Job Requirements:High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 2 years of warehouse experienceMinimum of 1 year of supervisory experienceExceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skillsSuperior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and concensusWe Have You Covered! Ability to create and manage departmental puter Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel and PowerPoint.Other Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Salvage Supervisor.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Forklift certification will be required.Other Qualifications: Self-motivated; resourceful, creative; high integrity; problem solver; looks to resolve issues; positive can-do approach; and ability to build effective working relationships.Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift andor move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
