As part of our marketing and communications team, you'll gain hands-on experience in sports media, public relations, and social media management, all while supporting a professional baseball team's communications efforts.Job Description:The Staten Island FerryHawks are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and enthusiastic Game Day Communications Intern to join our media team for the summer of 2025. This internship is an exciting opportunity for college students looking to gain real-world experience in sports communications, media relations, and content creation. The Communications Intern will assist in various communication functions including preparing rosters, game notes, stat packs, updating team rosters, and live-tweeting during games.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and update team rosters and player information for each game.Assist in creating and formatting game notes, stat packs, and other materials for media use.Keep rosters and player bios up to date with current stats and game information.Assist with creating content for the team's social media platforms, including live-tweeting during games and sharing important updates.Assist in writing and distributing game recaps, press releases, and other written materials.Provide on-site support during home games, ensuring all press materials are available to the media and all press personel are attended to when on-site.
