A key responsibility also includes managing and compiling data and statistics within the Pediatrics and Adolescents, and Pediatrics Specialties departments.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:The Assistant Coordinating Manager is charged with and responsible for:Prepares and submits new hire demographic spreadsheet and copies of application packages to Human Resources OfficePlans and prepares departmental orientations for all new residents and medical students in conjunction with the Assistant Director Monitors resident compliance with completion of NYCHealth + Hospitals surveys and learning modules to ensure required compliance rate is reachedPrepares and coordinates material and resources for site visit reviewsMonitor and file attestation formsCoordination of Performance Improvement projects under direction of the Chairperson, Program Director, Assistant Director and Associate DirectorProcurement of space and speakers and documents the attendance of residents and medical students for Grand Rounds, lectures and all meetingsProvide Pediatric administrative office and telephone coveragePrepares and distributes materials to appropriate staff members or to various departments as requestedAttends monthly Residency Coordinator meeting with GME Office Staff and other residency coordinators as neededWorks closely with Human Resources to properly coordinate resident OHS appointments Arranges appropriate rotations for residents and medical students in conjunction with the Chairperson and Program DirectorCreates and maintains resident and medical student schedules, obtains contact information, photo IDs and shares with the clerkship director, preceptors and department adminCreate and manage templates on AMION scheduling systemCompile and monitor the data and statistics within the Pediatrics and Adolescents, and Pediatrics Specialties department. Generate reports for the department chair and preparing data for the monthly departmental meetings.Other duties as required andor assigned to ensure smooth administrative functioning of the Department of PediatricsMinimum Qualifications1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Community Health, Psychology or related discipline with one year of full-time experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity in business management systems, general administration, health care and medicalpatient systems administration; or,2.
