This combination of industry and product groups permits the Firm to deliver advice, strategies and capital with a universal banking approach to targeted clients.Job Description Oppenheimer provides Analysts with a high level of responsibility and extensive access to senior management and clients. Transaction teams at Oppenheimer are typically small in size, providing Analysts with significant responsibilities and client-facing experience early in their career.Analysts' responsibilities include: Prepare financial analyses and bond models; Conduct due diligence investigations; Support the preparation of detailed presentation materials and pitch books; Respond to requests for proposals and; Support the senior bankers on live transactions.Qualifications At least 1-2 years of full-time work experience as an analyst at an investment bank or credit rating agency Passion for the Public Finance industry Strong verbal and written communication skills Elevated attention to detail and consistency in work product Strong work ethic and team player mentality with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, lean deal team work environment Organized and proactive; motivation to contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture Strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills, proficiency in Excel and DBC Series 63, 52 licenses and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam required at time of hiring or shortly thereafterCompensation:For job postings in New York City, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 at the time of this posting. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.Oppenheimer & Co. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
