The electrician will install, repair and maintain electric motors, programmable drives, high voltage circuits, electrical control panels, programmable logic controllers, and more. Work involves a thorough knowledge of the electrical trade and an understanding of the plant operating principles is required to ensure that equipment functions properly and safely.Job Description ContinuedEssential Job Duties:Repair, maintain and replace electric motors. But no live electrical work is to be completed.Maintain all associated equipment for the electric motors, including stall and repair all types of electronic equipment including PLC programmers.Maintain and install electrical services throughout the facility including lighting, HVAC, stall new equipment, mount fixtures, run conduit, pull wire, connect wiring, etc.Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns.Perform preventative maintenance duties on plant plete required documentation.Benefits Compensation:Starting pay rate $35.85 with a $2.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd ShiftOffered Over TimeHealth benefits, on-site nurse, 401k and Paid Holidays after 90 daysCareer advancement opportunities, on-site training, steel toe reimbursementAll job offers are contingent upon post-hire requirements: successful background check, drug screenphysical, and completion of required paperwork.Required Skills:Understand and able to work on up to 480V 3 phase (Higher voltage experience a plus)Industrial andor manufacturing PLC experienceMotor programmable drives experienceRunning conduitmachine movesnew installation experienceExperience in melting and molding environment would be a plusHigh school degree or equivalent required.Electrical schooling andor apprenticeship required.Must be able to meet the physical demands and skills analysis of the job.ASC Engineered Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
