Job DescriptionJob Summary: We are seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, initiating the first contact, and qualifying leads to support the sales pipeline. This role is essential for driving business growth and expanding our market presence. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels such as LinkedIn, industry events, and other networking opportunities.Outreach: Conduct outbound prospecting (emails, calls, social media) to generate new sales opportunities.Qualifying Leads: Engage with prospects to understand their business needs and pain points, and determine if they fit our ideal customer itial Contact: Schedule meetings and product demos for the sales team with qualified leads.CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, prospects, and opportunities in the CRM system.Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine strategies for targeting key markets and customers.Reporting: Provide regular updates to the sales management team on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and progress towards goals.RequirementsQualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in B2B sales or business development.Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with Linked In Sales Navigator, Zoom Discover Org, and other Contact Management Tools.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Resilient with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.Additional Requirements: Familiarity with the industry [specific to the company's industry, e.g., tech, finance] is a plus.BenefitsCompetitive salary with performance-based prehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.Collaborative and supportive work foverity is an Employee-Owned Company (ESOP)
