Mold Technician

Job Title: 3rd Shift Mold Technician WEEKLY PAY and 3 day work weeks!!PAY: $32hrResponsibilitiesSet up and change molds and auxiliary equipment according to set up instruction sheets.Perform insert changes on injection molds.Evaluate the accuracy of existing process sheets and set up instructions, making necessary adjustments.Correct quality and cycle time deviations.Purge material from presses and clean hoppers.Dry and maintain plastic resins according to Bill of Material guidelines.Grind runners and scrap parts; clean grinders.Label and return materials with related paperwork.Assist in training and starting up press operators.Count production products at the end of the shift.Sample new and revised tools and equipment.Create maintenance and toolroom work orders in the ERP plete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years' experience with setting up and cycling in plastic injection molds or similar experience.Technically sound in troubleshooting injection molding processes and equipment.Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting all pressroom equipment.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate clearly.Efficiently move between job functions and prioritize tasks.Strong problem-solving skills and judgment capabilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Accurate use of counting scales.Experience with Milicron, Demag, Van Dorn Demag, and Arburg machines is preferred.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
